Download A4 Petal hood for Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 DC
This petal hood is designed to be printed on A4 paper. Petal hoods offer superior shading characteristics compared with simple rounded hoods.
These lens hoods may be free, but they don't make themselves. If you find them useful or entertaining, please consider making a small donation. I will be eternally grateful :) Thanks! -- Paul.
Download A4 rounded hood for Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 DC
This simple, rounded hood is designed to be printed on A4 paper. Rounded hoods are most suited to tilt-shift lenses or any other lens that may cause the lens hood to be rotated when it is zoomed or focussed.
Please follow these instructions for guidance on printing and fitting the lens hood to your Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 DC.
From the feedback page:
- "This is so cool. This website has lens hoods designed for exact lenses! It caters to both my Olympus (saw DZ50 macro hood) and my Pentax (hood for the pancake lens). You have a choice of round or petal shape. You print the hood and then cut it out. If you want, you can even transfer the design to plastic. These hoods are designed for each lens and manufacturer. "
- "God! where were you this summer? So much flaring on alot of my photos. "
- "There is one problem. I printed out one for the Canon 85mm 1.2L II. The problem is that I do not own a Canon camera or the 85mm lens to go with it. So now I have to go out and buy a 1Ds MKII + 85mm 1.2L II. And you thought you were saving us money =) See what your "making" me do? "
Still want a real lens hood? Bah! Take a look at the photography section on amazon.com.
I'm still working on free lenses, but in the meantime, you can buy them from my recommended retailer :).
